Gv betting tips - Early alerts system results review and feedback

Although yesterdays results were poor and we lost on the day we are still well in profit since we started and 1 good day will see us start to show a profit since our move to the forum. All the selections yesterday were well backed and whilst that continues we will profit long term but there is no doubt that we are having a difficult time of things at the moment and the results have not been to our usual standards.
Watching the races yesterday I really thought we had the making of a very good day but to start things off we had Forgotten Voice 8-1 backed into 5-1 finishing 2nd with a ride that I'm sure Frankie would not have been very happy with and surely with a clear passage he would have been a lot closer and may have even won the race.
Tropical Beat 13/2 was also well backed going off at 9/2 but found a couple too good finishing in 3rd place.
Our final selection must have been one of the best backed horses of the day Finn Class advised at 7-1 going off at an sp of 2-1 but could only manage 4th.

So out of 5 runners we had a 2nd , 2 horses finishing 3rd and Finn Class finishing in 4th.

I would advise using 2% of your total betting bank so if you have enough in the pot and are prepared to accept a losing run at the higher stake then I would certainly increase the stake.

Glad you have stuck with it and we have now been rewarded for our efforts.

Noting that you wisely recommend win singles, I am more recently also backing in doubles to a smaller unit stake and doing OK. If there are more than 5 selections, I split them into two equal(or as nearly as possible) groups which keeps the number of bets down whilst guaranteeing a successful double if there are three winners. Obviously just two winners could do it if they fall right.

Has anyone done anything similar over a longer period, and is it paying off?

Richie , I would advise that you back as singles and once you are well in profit calculate your total stake and take 20% of your total stake as wages which should then leave your betting bank with a bit of a cushion in the event of a losing run.
This is the way that I pay myself and with those wages I do other bets such as football , doubles , L15s and placepots. I will only do these type of bets if I have had a good amount of wages and although it can be profitable you have to be prepared for longer losing runs.
If you do doubles you should still profit from them but you must still stick to the betting rules and get the advised prices otherwise we could lose our advantage over the bookies. I do occasionally back in combi doubles but I tend to favour L15s with treble the odds but that is not always possible with just the early alerts as we are not usually placing our bets with the same bookie.
The early alerts that I post are only a few of the bets that I have and on the day of the racing I do find many more system qualifiers but I'm unable to post all of these as I just haven't got the time during the day.

Yes Jazzy my wife likes a bet so long as there is value she will back it horses , dogs , football , tennis anything really so long as she knows its overpriced she will have an investment. Next holiday booked for July so we will be watching the world cup final somewhere hot and sunny.
