I have relaxed the alert criteria today which might result in too many alerts for some peoples liking but all the alerts are ones to do so I will be backing them at reduced stakes.

    Good luck

You should have now received 4 alerts at

    08:56
    08:59
    09:32
    09:52

one of the alerts is over 20-1 , I was hoping to stop alerts over 20-1 but this may not be possible and it is entirely up to you if you choose to back them but if you do I would advise anything over 20-1 ew and under 20-1 win.
I personally dont back any over 19.00 18-1 but my wife does and she does ok but you can obviously expect longer losing runs on aything over 20-1.

    Good luck

Well I did say expect more alerts and we have already had about 11. As I have already explained this is a testing period so we are still playing around with the alert criteria.

    Hi John,

Was on Blaine  cheers  1/2 point EW, also put it in a small ew L15 with a few of the other alerts.

Great start to the day and best of luck with the rest of them.

I'm happy getting the longer odds. they're good for ew penny patents and L15s so a bit of fun.

I see Pinter's just gone in as well  cheers

The Bee finds the winner of the first race at York at 25-1 but I didn't back it Sad
My wife did back it and now I have to put up with listening to her being right again lol

    Did anyone else back it?

Well if you like plenty of bets you will be happy today , having relaxed the criteria we are now getting plenty of alerts but as I have said before they are all ones to do.

Feedback on the bee so far would be appreciated such as amount of alerts , prices obtained or better than advised price so anything really will help.

We have just had a mass of alerts for the race which I suspect has a non runner. The bee dosen't know there is a non runner so all bets are picked up as being value when in fact they are not once the non runner is taken out. It may be that the prices are not available anyway but when this happens I would check before backing any of the selections.

We are correct as the non runner kingston hill was a short price favourite.

So from this we can say if a group of more than 2 or 3 is alerted for a race it needs us to check for a non runner before placing any bets.

Hey, firstly thanks for all the time and effort you've put in john, guess you sorta know how Dr Frakenstein must have felt when he first unleashed his creation. Lol.

I decided to only paper trade for the rest of this month, I miss a few winners and losers but i always do this when i start something new. Im guessing it'll take a few weeks too iron out a few issues. The only real drawback I can see at the moment is the amount of tips, you'd literally have too do the bee hive full time to get everything on other than that I can't really see anything else wrong. People have got too make their own judgements with the info given out and mold it to their lifestyle. Anyways, thanks again.

    John,

I thought I'd posted this message but then looked and couldn't find it so, if this message appears twice or in a different part of the forum again, then you'll know why.

As I said in my email to you, I've taken a bit of a watching brief to start with (partly because I'm a bit too busy during the day at the moment) whilst I work out what the best approach is including in so far as stakes for the updates are concerned.

What would be helpful for me would be if at the end of each day you were able to list all the advised bets (in the updates) with prices, along with those that won or placed at decent odds, and profit or loss each day as well as the accumulated profit / loss - like you do for the early alerts, essentially. That sort of overview might help people decide what approach (including in respect of staking) best works for them.

If this is not easily done through your computer, is too time consuming or too much trouble in any way, then obviously don't worry. People can do it for themselves.

Thanks again for all of this!

John, the beehive has been a success today, proof of the pudding is in the eating,i am considerably up on the day, and although there are lots of alerts , especially when racing starts, The work you have put in is much appreciated ,and the small amount of time we need to obtain the info , is more than repaid by the financial gain...keep em coming and keep the hive hummin.

Keith , I would like to do a list of all alerts and results but I really haven't got time especially on a day like today.

There have been lots of alerts but some very nice priced winners.

    blaine 25-1
    pinter 8-1
    odeon 50-1 placed
    midnight dynamo 18-1
    meebo 7-1
    miller beach 8-1
    pretty bubble 5-1
    danzoe 12-1
    anglo irish 11/2

I may have missed 1 or 2 but that is at a glance

Simon , it has not been straight forward and we have hit a few walls but we seem to be getting there now. I agree that there are probably too many alerts for most , we do this full time but I realise most people wouldn't have the time for so many bets.

    Post by GILLY56 Wed Aug 20, 2014 9:03 pm

Undoubtedly lots of alerts so I guess its a question of personal choice as to how you follow - if the alerts are reduced it is likely some winners will be missed but obviously you miss lots of losing selections too - possibly a little early to be judgemental - lets see how things move on over the next few days until the end of august & see where we are with the alerts as they exist presently

Just got in after a mad day at work and on my fone !! LoL

I cannot believe that first one went in at 25/1...that was truly amazing...and anybody who was on that would of bin laughing their socks off...amazing bee hive tip !! unreal !!
I am just playing with VERY minimal stakes as an experiment, and read somewhere to leave anything with odds over 20/1, so I left it alone :-( !!!!! kicking myself was an understatement !!

I tried keeping up with the emails but due to work I missed a few winners and losers (as you correctly said will happen)...I am now going to sit down and TRY to asses exactly what I missed and what I was on.
But I am up by over a £100 with my VERY minimal (experiment) stakes so the bee hive definitely worked for me today.

Only thing is I now have a banging head with trying to keep up with the emails and my work colleagues think im having an affair !!! LOL

Thank you for all the hard work which goes into this forum and these amazing betting systems

    Hi John,

Great results today, well done. There were certainly a lot of alerts but then as you say it doesn't matter too much if someone misses a few. I personally quite like the idea of more alerts rather than less. I have just been paper trading the alerts so far, but plan to start betting them from next week.

Thanks for all your efforts and time, it really is appreciated,

    Hi John,

As I said last night I had a good day, Generally I was staking 1 point up to 8s and 1/2 point after that.  I did do some of the outsiders exclusively in my "small stakes play" account in ew single and multiples and that account is up by over 50%.

I'll admit I was a bit edgy before the first went in and was glad I had the 1/2 point ew on Blaine and I could relax a bit, especially when Pinter followed in  cheers .

I'm very happy with yesterdays level of alerts and also the longer odds coming through.  And as others have pointed out, you can't follow every single alert and you don't have to.

As to the level and contents of alerts we receive, I'm more than happy to go along with what you decide is best.

Thanks again for the chance to take part all this  bounce
