restricted betting and bookies blocking my account

Post by masond422 on Tue Feb 17, 2015 10:25 pm

Two months in and Ive been restricted to £1 bets on two bookies and completely banned and account closed on another! Is anyone else having this trouble. The only reason ive had of one of them is due to 'betting patterns' on my account. makes me wonder if they figuring out the system betting i.e when the early alerts go out or something but basically at this rate I wont have anyone left to bet with.

Anyone know if creating new accounts with same details but different username works?

Any advice appreciated? I have been spreading the betting so there is no focus ornone or more bookies.

Bookies will close accounts if you are found to be winning , they are in a position to only allow losing punters to bet and if they think you are unprofitable they will not want to accept your bets

wow gutted by this, thought there would be a way round, don't know how you place a bet these days online, so basically its just a matter of time before all my accounts get shut down because the bee is just too damn good.

I know bookies don't just ban winners as I've been down on Ladbrokes and betfair and both accounts restricted to under £1. I think their finding a pattern or something and I don't think they like the fact when I use them I get early prices.

Do Betfair restrict on the exchange?

Really not sure shotleyskunk, I wouldn't think so as betfair has nothing to lose on the exchange only win win, but I really don't know, I don't really know how it works and don't use it.

Betfair exchange is exchange betting , therefore you are not using Betfair as a bookmaker, you are betting against other punters who are laying .Betfair take fee per transaction..5pcent i think, sometimes you can get decent odds but obviously no BOG ...its an option when all doors close.

If you use betfair exchange you will be able to place your bets without fear of being stopped or restricted but when using the exchange you will find that the prices are in the vast majority of fancied horses will be shorter than the odds offered by many of the online bookmakers. Many believe that betfair exchange offer the best odds but this is normally only true for the less fancied horses / outsiders. Betfair exchange will in most cases beat the start price offered by the online bookmakers but by this time the value has normally gone and you will find it very hard to make a profit at sp.
If getting value is not difficult enough then you have to factor in the 5% commission and they also now have further charges for winning customers.
A Betfair punter, for example, who has made £25,000 a year over the last 10 years on racing will now have to hand over between 40 and 60% of any future profits – if he doesn't do this naturally through commission generated, then Betfair will simply debit the difference.
