We would expect you to get around 10+ alerts per day for horses priced between 8-1 and 20-1.
This system will alert the same alerts as the standard system but you will also get the larger priced
alerts. We would recommend that you only start this system when you have a sufficient betting bank and
some experience of our other systems. The longer odds will be very rewarding long term but you must have
the nerve short term to accept that when you are backing the larger priced alerts you will experience
    longer losing runs.

few questions about the Beehive, and hopefully this will also help any new people that start this system.

I got alerted by standard Bee Prince Des Marais this morning and again by standard at around lunch, do you back both of these even tho its standard bee that has tipped both? There have been others aswell but can't remember at the top of my head.

Also seems there's a conflict between NR, The Bee will send me a tip at etc odds of 7/1 when its actually been cut due to the NR, 2 races I found that it tipped the same time there was a NR. Do you still back these even tho the prices have been cut?

Also Lukes Hill was tipped at 16/1 this morning but he wasn't even this price last night, do I still get next best? at the time I think it was 13/1 / 14/1.

I can understand its a computer doing all of this and nothing can be done about the NR and such, but I would just like to know what to do and what to avoid with the above.

    Many Thanks =)

    Question

"I got alerted by standard Bee Prince Des Marais this morning and again by standard at around lunch, do you back both of these even tho its standard bee that has tipped both? There have been others aswell but can't remember at the top of my head."

    Answer

You can back them both if you like although if you like most users want to mirror our p/l figures then just back it once for Standard and then back it again only if it alerts for starter or standardplus.

    Question

"Also seems there's a conflict between NR, The Bee will send me a tip at etc odds of 7/1 when its actually been cut due to the NR, 2 races I found that it tipped the same time there was a NR. Do you still back these even tho the prices have been cut?"

    Answer

The race in question today was the 4:50 when it alerted 2 horses El Bandit and Bacchanel which only alerted due to non runners. Looking at the alerts there is nothing that stands out to me that says they alerted due to the non runners so I would add them to the p/l and as both horses lost anyway we are actually have a negative effect on the p/l , if one of the horses had won then I would check for and apply any r4 deductions.
In reply to whether you should back them or not it is entirely up to you , you will find it evens itself out as you will miss loses like today that have been added into the p/l and sometimes you will miss winners.

Then we ask do we back any alerts when the price is not available , I dont but most of our bee hive users will take a lower price and still profit from the tips. If you are going to take a lower price it is very important to find the next best available price before backing the alert.

You will be having more bets than you are perhaps used to having but you dont really need to back them all to
make a profit so if you do happen to miss a few don't be too concerned as you will miss losers as well as
winners so in the long run it will even its self out. If you dont want to back them all I would advise that you
just back the ones where you have been able to obtain the advised price.

    Question

"Also Lukes Hill was tipped at 16/1 this morning but he wasn't even this price last night, do I still get next best? at the time I think it was 13/1 / 14/1. "

Lukes hill alerted at the same for 2 different bookies at different odds 16-1 & 12-1 , you are correct that 16-1 was not available and the best price available at that time was 14-1 so in this case you would back the alert as it advised that you could back the alert as low as 12-1. If the horse had alerted at 16-1 only it would be your choice whether to take a lower price , most of our bee hive users will take a lower price and still profit from the tips. If you are going to take a lower price it is very important to find the next best available price before backing the alert.

Odds checking will result in beating the advised odds quite often so this will then even itself out with taking lower than advised odds on other alerts.

Regarding taking a lower price you need to ask yourself if you are going to be disappointed when you miss winners but believe me you will miss lost of losers too and it will even itself out over time.

Thanks for clearing that up, This was by no means having a go just to understand the rules of following the system correctly.

    =)

Btw once I'm back in work, I will only be able to back Alerts from morning to 10 clock. I'll try it out for a few weeks and let you know the results.

I back these type of alerts in the bookies because sometimes the bookies are slow to change the odds and unless they win I'm totally unaware that there has been a non runner , I think this probably has a negative effect on the p/l so if these were all discounted the p/l would show more profit.
acroleina alerted at 6:21 for the 6:35 and you do sometimes find that the price is cut very quickly when it is close to the race.
Upto now you have named around 5 horses that alerted and the advised price wasnt available for one reason or another and they have all lost so if we happen to have a winner that the price wasnt there and it is claimed for p/l purposes then we need to remember how many we should have discounted that actually lost.
Back what you can when you can , have fun and make a profit Smile

Yea you have a valued point. Missed 5 lossers today. Obiously I expect missing a winner but like you say it will balance itself out.

    .
With the number of meetings today, the Hive was always going to be hectic, and with the increase in meetings over the spring/summer you would be best advised to keep some sort of paperwork back up confirmimg you have placed the bets, and that you have not missed any selections .Personally i love it, the more races...the more money !!
Today could have been epic , as we were beaten into second place almost every other race, i thought our luck was out yesterday and today,,Dancing Dik summed yesterday up, and we had to wait until after 5 today to clock up some decent points, even though the day started off brilliantly

I watched 75% of the race and dancing dik was miles ahead. Stopped watching it and went to the cinema, came back and found out he fell! Such a shame, that would of been the easiest money ever for me. That horse was ment to be out today as well so not sure how well he did.

Such an unlucky day today, 2 massive prices 2nd, fall at 1st fence, another fall near the end, a donkey stuck in the stalls and another donkey being ridden 2 furlong s in the race. O.o

Should we not get a refund for the horse that was stuck?
